Turquoise Medicine Bag

Supple cocoa colored deerskin bag with a cream colored antelope medallion laced onto the front with decorative stitching. A finely matrixed large turquoise piece is attached to the medallion.

Hanging from braided artificial sinew on one side are old metal rings, turquoise beads, and old turquoise colored white hearts.

Hanging from the braided artificial sinew is a beaded fringe of old metal rings, old turquoise colored white hearts, and turquoise beads.

The braided artificial sinew double drawstring locks with Awale chevron beads and metal spacers and old yellow white hearts decorate the ends. The braided sinew shoulder/neck strap is adjustable with a greasy glass crow bead and Awale chevrons and nickel plated brass beads adorn the ends. This bag has a nice heft to it. Laced entirely with artificial sinew using Spanish Edge Lacing.

This bag measures 4 inches wide X 5 inches long. The shoulder/neck strap is 59 inches from end to end. The fringe is 3 1/4 inches long.
